A growing construction-related company is seeking an experienced HR & Operations Manager to support both human resources functions and day-to-day business operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong HR foundation who also understands how operational processes impact overall business performance. The HR & Operations Manager will serve as a key partner to leadership by helping drive employee initiatives, monitoring business metrics, supporting operational workflows, and ensuring organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

• Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and new hire orientation.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Support recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring processes.
• Assist with employee relations matters, performance management, disciplinary actions, and coaching.
• Administer benefits, workers' compensation claims, leave requests, and HR-related documentation.
• Monitor HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Generate HR reports and provide workforce insights to leadership.

Operations Support

• Review company dashboards and operational reports through HubSpot CRM.
• Analyze key business metrics and identify trends, opportunities, and potential concerns.
• Partner with leadership to improve processes, workflows, and overall operational efficiency.
• Assist with project tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Support cross-functional communication between departments to ensure alignment on business objectives.
• Help maintain organizational systems, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Monitor productivity and support initiatives aimed at improving business performance.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of overall Human Resources experience, including exposure to HR administration, employee relations, recruiting, benefits, or HR operations.
• Previous HR Manager experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience supporting a construction, field services, manufacturing, logistics, or similar operational environment is highly preferred.
• Understanding of business operations, workflows, and operational metrics.
• Experience reviewing dashboards, reports, and business performance data.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with HubSpot CRM is a strong plus.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with leadership.
